Private Institution "AO ACTR - ACCELS" (hereinafter "American Councils Moldova" or "we") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Statement applies only to processing activities carried out by American Councils Moldova in its capacity as a data controller.

  • When you register to use AIS Forms or any other application platform

  • When you use other forms on AIS Forms websites

We do not require personal information to browse our website or access most information. We do not collect personal information about our visitors unless you choose to provide this information. How long do we keep personal data?

We will not keep your personal data longer than necessary. If personal data is no longer needed, we will delete it.

For student records, we have the following retention periods:

  • If you apply to us for a student program, we keep your data for six months.

  • If you become a participant, we keep your record for six months after program completion.

Technical Information We Collect Automatically

American Councils for International Education tracks visitors’ computer IP addresses, operating system (Windows, Unix), browser type (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.), the date and time you access the website, URLs of pages visited, and visits that were directly from another website or source (a link from another website). Each user’s personal information remains completely anonymous. This technical information helps us to detect server problems or webpage errors, administer our website effectively, and analyze performance. Ultimately, this information serves to enhance our visitors’ experience.

Social Sharing Features

American Councils for International Education may offer social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as the Facebook “share” button). Security Information provided by users of americancouncils.org is stored in a modern hosting facility providing industry-standard facility and data protection.     If you wish to access your data, you may submit a written request. We will respond within 30 days in accordance with Articles 12-22 of Law No. 195/2024. No fee is charged for a routine request.

Unsubscribing or Opting Out
